According to my weather station console, it is raining cats and dogs. We are up to 1.94" now (July 21 14:27h) during the last 24 hours. I wish some of this rain would go where it is dry. It certainly is not dry here. The garden is starting to produce. Chard, snow peas, summer squash, zucchini, and we are getting the first tomatoes and okra from the greenhouse. N1EVO and KB1OWW came out on July 14th to improve my antenna set up. They brought
a J-Pole antenna with them with a lot of coax. June could not get a good reading on my
coax from my quarter wave antenna. Carl put up the J-pole and everything worked fine.
It turns out that the buzz or hum from 146.715 is not a problem with my radio,
but is intermittent on 146.715.
| N1CHF was on our net Monday night, July 18th, from Frenchville. He came for a visit the afternoon of July 20th. We had a nice long talk. He took photos of our garden for his girl friend, Helen. He was driving a beautiful red truck.
