Letter From Our President

Hope you had a very Merry Christmas.

Happy New Year!

This will be a very short Feed-Point. There was no meeting this month. Instead we had a delightful Pot-Luck Christmas Supper at the Northern Door Inn. There were 16 people attending. The food was varied and delicious. We had fun with the Yankee Trade gift exchange. There were two door prizes. It started snowing before we got done with the evening's festivities, but everyone made it home okay.

The club has received a donation of $300.00 from my good friends Pat and Heman Adams. The Adams live in Colorado, summer in Maine. They are not hams, but for some reason they have taken an interest in our little radio club. I will bring a card for us to sign at the next meeting. We owe them a big thank you".

I am busy recruiting people for Can-Am. Please let me know what you can do to help. The races will be March 1,2,3.

My favorite gift for Christmas is a Pelican Radio Safe. Very hefty and secure!

Any body have a program idea for the Jan. 8 meeting? Suggestions to N1FG.

At 5:47 PM 12/27 146.640 was at 11.30 volts. Long period calls should be held on 146.52 if possible.

I hope 2008 will be a good year for ham contacts for everyone!
